Fire Drill

We had gym today with Mr. Der where we practiced our skills by bouncing, balancing, catching and throwing balls. We continued working on our fall balloons in our visual journals and also counted the leaves on the graph we created to see what our favorite and least favorite fall colors were. We also created houses using various shapes in our visual journals. We had centres and we also played the not a box game. Thank you to green, blue, and red groups for their happiness museum items. We are looking forward to yellow group sharing theirs next week. PM Kindergarten also participated in a fire drill and did a wonderful job staying calm and following directions!

REMINDER: Tomorrow is AM kindergarten only. No school for PM Kindergarten.

We are collecting Toonies for Terry. If you are interested in donating, please send a toonie with your child. AM Kindergarten will be participating in the terry Fox run on Friday morning. We will be leaving Eric Harvie School at 9:00 AM and heading to Twelve Mile Coulee School where we will be doing a Zumba warmup before the run. As a group, we will leave TMC as we follow the race rout to Tuscany Elementary School. Children will be provided with juice, fruit, and muffins for snack at Tuscany. No need to send snack. If your child has dietary concerns, please pack them a small snack that fits in their pockets as we will not be taking our backpacks. After snack, all Eric Harvie children will be walking back to school for dismissal at 12:05 PM. Please note we will be outside all morning. Please ensure that your child is dressed for the weather and has appropriate footwear (runners).

PM students are also invited to participate on Friday, September 28 with a parent/guardian supervising them at all times. If interested, please meet us at the TMC field at 9:25 am where all students will start the run with a Zumba warmup. Again, we require a parent and/or guardian to be with their student for the duration of the Terry Fox Run.
