Today was our inquiry test day! AM Kindergarten students tested their ships in the water table with an Iceberg and PM kindergarten tested their star catchers! It was exciting to see what students came up with and the successes and challenges of our first maker space experience.
- Ask your child to tell you something they learned about the Titanic or about stars.
- Report cards are coming home today. Please sign the front and return them back to us ASAP. Please do not seal the envelope as we will be using the same envelopes again.
- Valentine's Day is fast approaching. We will be celebrating Valentine's day Wednesday, Feb.13 and the students are encouraged to wear red, white and pink for the day. If your child wishes to bring valentines cards, please send 45 cards (one for each child in both PM or AM classes). Please have your child sign their name only to the card. Please leave the "To" line on the card blank. We appreciate your help with this. If you have any questions, please ask.
- Sports Day- Our annual Winter Sports Day is coming up. We are having it on the Global School Play Day, February 6, 2019. We would love to have you join us as a volunteer. The time commitment will be from 11:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. See below for a link to sign up. Thank you.

SIGN UP DEADLINE EXTENDED to Friday, February 1st! Please let me know if you can register for the event. We need at least 8 registrations to run the event, and it would be a shame to cancel it!
We are excited to announce a Rustic Sign Party happening at Eric Harvie School on Tuesday, February 12th from 6:00pm -9:00pm. Tickets are $60.00 a sign.
$10 from each ticket will go back to the school, and each participant will have a beautiful custom sign to take home with them at the end of the night. Snacks and drinks (water/juice) will also be included in your ticket. Grade 3 &4 Students are eligible to participate as long as they have a guardian either attending with them, or participating alongside them. Each participating person needs to pay for a ticket. (1 ticket = 1 sign)
We have a limit of 30 participants, so if you are interested in participating, please contact Julie at
ehsspecialevents@gmail.com. Deadline to register and pay is EXTENDED to Friday, February 1st. This will ensure that all the designs are printed and ready to go in time for the event!
