Filling Buckets

We had dance today with Sound Kreations and learned some really awesome dance moves once again! We also had centres with new stations today. We read the book Have You Filled A Bucket Today? by Carol McCloud and together came up with different ideas on how we can do acts of kindness to fill each others' imaginary buckets. We also created a bucket where we will add the names of bucket fillers every day. Overall, we had a really fun day!

- Ask your child to tell you ways they can fill someones bucket at school and at home.

Important Updates and Reminders:
- Thank you to those who have already returned their field trip forms. If you haven't already done so, please fill out and return as soon as possible. We are still looking for volunteers for both AM (Oct.12) and PM trips (Oct.19). There is AM Kindergarten on Friday, Oct.12 / no school for PM Kindergarten this Friday. Please make sure that all of your child's belongings are labeled with first and last names as our lost and found bin continues to grow. This includes mittens, hats, gloves, jackets, snow pants, and boots.
- Please send back the colored folders.
- As we begin our study of the natural world around us, we are asking each child to bring in a photo of themselves playing in a natural setting found within the community of Tuscany. Please note that these photos will be displayed at school. A natural setting could include your front yard, back yard, the Tuscany coulee, ponds, green space, park, ravine, etc).
