Inglewood Bird Sanctuary (AM)

We visited the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary today. We were so lucky to have such beautiful weather. Working in big and small groups we participated in various activities that helped us appreciate the space we were exploring. Thank you so much to our wonderful parent volunteers who made our first field trip experience amazing! We hope you had a great time.

- Ask your child what they loved most about our field trip today.
- Encourage your child to fill someone's bucket this weekend.
Go for a walk in the community and take a picture of your child in your their favorite outdoor nature space. Please print off and have your child bring in the actual photograph by Monday, October 15th, 2018.

Important Updates and Reminders:
- There is a lost and found in front of the office. We will be putting all Kindergarten lost items there starting today. If your child has lost items, please visit the office (through the front doors) after students have been dismissed to find any items your child may have lost. Thank you.
- Thank you to those who have already returned their field trip forms. If you haven't already done so, please fill out and return as soon as possible. We are still looking for volunteers for the PM trip (Oct.19).
- Please make sure that all of your child's belongings are labeled with first and last names as our lost and found bin continues to grow. This includes mittens, hats, gloves, jackets, snow pants, and boots.
- Please send back the colored folders and any forms.
As we begin our study of the natural world around us, we are asking each child to bring in a photo of themselves playing in a natural setting found within the community of Tuscany. Please note that these photos will be displayed at school. A natural setting could include your front yard, back yard, the Tuscany coulee, ponds, green space, park, ravine, etc).
