Leaf rubbings and triangles

Mr. Kelly visited us today and taught us about using different kinds of lines to create triangles! We also joined Mr. Der in the gym. Continuing on with our fall theme, we also created leaf rubbings using crayons in our visual journals. We used fall colors to represent what leaves look like during the fall season. We had centers as well where students chose from a variety of activities and resources.

- Find leaves outside and have your child show you how to create a leaf rubbing.
- Practice drawing vertical lines, horizontal lines, diagonal lines, circles, triangles and squares at home. Use a sharpie like we do in our classroom!

Important Updates and Reminders:

- We are collecting Toonies for Terry, pledges, or other donations until October 9th. If you are interested in donating, please send them with your child.
- AM families: please return all field trip forms to us as soon as possible. The fee for the Inglewood Bird

Sanctuary is $20, not $15. We apologize for the confusion.
- If you are interested in volunteering for the field trip, please contact the AM volunteer coordinator.
- PM students will be receiving their field trip forms soon.

Thank you!
