Block City

We started our morning with gym with Mr. Der and Visual Arts with Mr. Kelly where we drew creatures from Where The Wild Things Are using individual whiteboards. We created our rip art firefighter hats for "F is for Firefighter". Using a variety of blocks, such as kapla blocks, wooden blocks, magnetic blocks, popsicle sticks, gems we created houses. Some of us created our own houses whereas others made houses using our imagination.

Updates and Information:

- There is no school for Kindergarten on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23. 

- Please book one 15-minute slot with your child's responsibility teacher. The blue and yellow group is with Ms. Khan. The green group is with Mrs. Watterson and the red group is with Mrs. Conley.

- A note was sent home about the upcoming Polar Express event to the AM students today.

- The yellow group is still looking for parent volunteers for our visit to the Fire Station next Wednesday at 1:30-2:45 PM. Thank you.

- Forms about ordering Poinsettias were sent home. Please return them no later than Wednesday, November 23, 2018. When you place poinsettia orders and send in cheques, please make them payable to Eric Harvie School.

- AM students will also bring home a workbook from the fire station home today.

- Please send the folders back. Just a reminder that we keep the folders at home and use them at school to send information home. They are not sent home on a daily basis.

- Just a friendly reminder to always have an extra change of clothes in your child's backpack.
