Dentist Visit

We learned from another community helper today. Karen, from Tuscany Dental Center visited Kindergarten to teach us about how to care for our teeth. She showed us how to properly brush our teeth (circular and sweep motion so we also get the gums) and explained the difference between sugar bug foods and teeth friendly foods. She also told us the importance of buddy brushing and flossing and brought in some x rays for us to look at as well! We had drumming as well and continued to work diligently on our personalized, life-sized community helper versions of ourselves. We also had art with Mr. Kelly- The AM students continued their reindeer drawings and the PM group started working on some beautiful trees using pastel crayons!

Friday, December 14th is an AM kindergarten. There is no school for PM kindergarten.
