Makerspace Adventures

Kindergartens had a hands-on day in the maker space today. AM students designed ships of their choice and PM students designed star catchers. Our creative conversations about the Titanic and Stars continued today. It is exciting to see the wonders students share about the world around them. We also did personal journals in the PM.

Thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers and grade 3/4 buddies from the Hope pod for all their help with cutting, taping, and gluing today.

There is no school for Kindergarten this Friday, February 1st, 2019.

- Report cards will be coming home tomorrow.

 - Home reading books travel between home and school in our colored folders so please ensure that we get them ASAP.  Students will not bring home a reading book without a folder.

- Both books and folders must be returned to get a new book!

- Please continue sending us environmental print! Our wall is growing and we are so excited to add more and more words we can read each day!

Fun snack is happening tomorrow, Tuesday, January 29, 2019.

- Please send us materials on Wednesday for our upcoming activity in the makerspace!

Our annual Winter Sports Day is coming up.  We are having it on the Global School Play Day, February 6, 2019.  We would love to have you join us as a volunteer.  The time commitment will be from 11:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  See below for a link to sign up.  Thank you.
