Get Happy!

We had a wonderful time in gym today with Mr. Der. We read the book "Get Happy" by Caroline Uff and thought about what we need less of and more of in our inquiry journals. For example, laugh more and cry less. Take less and share more. We had centers and snack. 

Tomorrow is an AM kindergarten- there is no school for PM students. 

Important Information:

- Our annual Winter Sports Day has been postponed until Wednesday, February 13.  The day has been rebranded Winter Global School Play Day.  We would love to have you join us as a volunteer.  The time commitment will be from 11:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  See below for a link to sign up.  Thank you.

- Please send signed report card envelopes with your child ASAP. Please do not seal the envelope as we will be using the same envelopes again. 

- We sent home Scholastic book orders today. Please order online under your child's responsibility teacher.  Use the code CLIFFORD at checkout to get a free book under $6 of your choice. 

- Valentine's Day is fast approaching. We will be celebrating Valentine's day Wednesday, February 13 and the students are encouraged to  wear red, white and pink for the day. If your child wishes to bring valentines cards, please send 45 cards (one for each child in both PM or AM classes). Please have your child sign their name only to the card. Please leave the "To" line on the card blank. We appreciate your help with this.
