Hope!

We had a very special guest today in Kindergarten! Hope the Rabbit visited both the morning and afternoon groups to help us learn about the differences between living and non-living things. We looked at living plants, animals, and people and compared them to non-living things such as fake flowers, shells, rocks, and stuffed animals. We recorded our observations in our visual journals.

We had gym, where we practiced our throwing and kicking skills with beach balls, as well as art, where we practiced drawing bird eggs. Mr. Kelly taught us how to use different muscles to draw different sized eggs. We drew eggs using our turtle, elephant, and dinosaur muscles.

We would like to let parents know that the next few days in Kindergarten are going to be messy as we will be starting our paper mâché bird eggs. Please dress your child accordingly. Thank you to all of the families who donated newspaper and advertisements for our project!
The afternoon group will be visiting the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary THIS Friday, March 15th. There will be no school for the morning group.

Thank you!
