W is for Wednesday (and wolves)

Today we worked on our printing journals for the letter W. W is for Wolf. We drew a wolf howling at the moon. AM students read the book "A Grand Old Tree" and worked on creating trees using ripped brown construction paper and tissue paper of different colors for the leaves. We were inspired by PM students who worked with TMC students on this a few weeks ago. PM students continued to practice their songs and are working hard for their upcoming peace assembly!

This Thursday, May 23 is our student led learning walk at 6:15pm. Parents and students are invited to come see what students have been working on! This is a drop in format, so you can come at any time between 6:15pm and 7:15pm. 

This Friday, May 24 is a PM Kindergarten. PM Kindergarten parents are invited to attend our peace assembly at 11:00AM.

Please return your field trip forms if you have not already done so.

OUR THIRD ANNUAL GLAZED 8 DONUT RACE WILL TAKE PLACE SUNDAY, 

JUNE 2, 2019! 

The Glazed 8 is a race of varying lengths for kids, adults, families, and friends that combine two of the best activities around: running & eating donuts. And, the bonus of the event is that all money raised goes towards our community - specifically, Eric Harvie Elementary School and new this year, Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation. We are in the third year of the event, have donated close to $4000 and eaten nearly 500 donuts and 2500 Timbits!
