Leaves and Lines

Mr. Kelly helped us transform our knowledge of various lines and created beautiful fall leaves. We read the book Fall Walk by Virginia Snow and were inspired to use the colors purple, orange, red, yellow, and brown for our leaves. We read the book "also used ten frames and practiced counting. We had centres as well.

Reminder that there is no school Thursday and Friday. Please book one 10 minute slot with your child’s responsibility teacher. The blue and yellow group is with Ms. Khan. The green group is with Mrs. Watterson and the red group is with Mrs. Conley.
- Ask your child to explain what ten frames are.
- Ask your child to draw a leaf using vertical and diagonal lines.
