A is for Ambulance

Today we continued to work on Community ABC's and completed A is for Ambulance. We also did literacy centers which included activities such as letter, sound and word games. We had centers and read three books today! We have also started to create our life-sized community helpers. We cannot wait to share with you what we are working on.

PM kindergarten attends Friday, November 30th from 8:25-12:05. There is no school for AM students on Friday.

We will be painting over the next few weeks so please send your child with clothes that you are ok getting paint on or short sleeved shirts. We are also hoping to get donations of clean glass jars with lids for storing paint (baby food jars, mason jars, pickle jars, etc.).

Ask your child:-

- To copy the word ambulance at home today.
- What their favorite centre was today.
- Which community helper they want to be when they grow up and have them tell you what important role they play in our community.

- Forms about ordering Poinsettias were sent home. Please return them no later than Wednesday, November 28, 2018. When you place poinsettia orders and send in cheques, please make them payable to Eric Harvie School. 

- Please send the folders back. Just a reminder that we keep the folders at home and use them at school to send information home. They are not sent home on a daily basis.

- Just a friendly reminder to always have an extra change of clothes in your child's backpack.
