Lockdown Practice

We made number cities for math today, which was lots of fun. We also had new centers, where we got to explore new things such as light cubes. Gym with mr. Der was also busy as we practiced skipping, shuffling, throwing, catching, and more activities. The PM students also had a practice lock down. We understood that it is important to practice so that we know what to do if we ever need to have a real one. 

Ask your child:

- to talk about the 4 zones of regulation (red, green, blue, yellow)
- to talk about what community helpers are in our community of Tuscany 
- to explain our math number cities to you
- Ask your child to explain the importance of a lock down

There is no school for AM kindergarten students tomorrow, Nov.9
PM students will attend school tomorrow Friday, November 9th 8:25-12:05. Thank you.

Important Updates and Reminders:

- Please send your house photos as soon as possible as we need them for a very exciting activity on Monday.

- Communication colored folders- Please help us by reminding and encouraging your child to take their folders out of their backpacks at the beginning of class on a daily basis. There is important information going to and from school and we rely on these folders.

-Snack time happens during centres. This means that your child may not choose to eat everyday. Please remember to send one small snack to school that they can quickly eat. We do however give continuous reminders before snack time ends.
