Remembrance day assembly

We attended the Remembrance day assembly. The grade 3/4 did a great job hosting a peace assembly and we were excited to be a part of it. We had centers and snack. We read the book "Block City" also used a variety of blocks to build our house today. We had a great time using so many different things and ended up making some pretty cool houses.

Please note, there is school on Monday.

- Ask your child to describe the house they designed and made today and what they used.
- Ask your child what the four zones of regulation are.

Important Updates and Reminders:

- We are starting our work with the house photos as part of our community project on Monday. If your child does not bring in a 5X7 photo by Monday, we will be providing them with a generic photo to use instead.

Communication colored folders- Please help us by reminding and encouraging your child to take their folders out of their backpacks at the beginning of class on a daily basis. There is important information going to and from school and we rely on these folders. Please note: we only send the folders home if we need to send important information home.

-Snack time happens during centers. This means that your child may not choose to eat everyday. Please remember to send one small snack to school that they can quickly eat. We do however give continuous reminders before snack time ends.
