Writing

The AM students are working hard on their Peace Assembly. They are practicing each day and are very excited to perform on Friday. We worked on our personal writing journals and today wrote the date as well. Students were encouraged to write and draw about anything of their choice today and we saw lots of families, pets, race cars, monster trucks and of course, unicorns and rainbows! We had centers and snack as well. 

Important Updates and Reminders: 

- Home reading starts Monday, January 21st. Home reading books travel between home and school in our colored folders so please ensure that we get them back ASAP. Thanks!

- Friday, January 18th is an AM Kindergarten. There is no school for PM Kindergarten. AM students have a peace assembly and AM families are invited to attend.

- The AM Kindergarten Peace Assembly is on Friday, January 18th at 11:00 AM. Only the AM students will be performing this time and their families are invited to come and be a part of this. The PM peace assembly will happen later in the year.
