Feelings and Emotions

We read the book In My Heart: A Book of Feelings and talked about what feeling is in each zone. We had centers and snack. Mr. Der and Mr. Kelly also worked with us during art and gym today. We were inspired by Todd Parr's artwork and also painted our journals in 4 squares and drew what we may look like in each zone. We used mirrors to see our facial expressions as well! 

Reminders: 

- Home reading has now started. Home reading books travel between home and school in our colored folders so please ensure that we get them ASAP.  Students will not bring home a reading book without a folder.

- Our librarian, Ms. Carde will be sending e-mails to parents of students who have not yet returned a book that they borrowed prior to the holiday break. Please don't forget to send back any overdue books. Thanks!

- Send logos and labels students find around the house. 

- Fun snack is happening next Tuesday, January 29, 2019.
