Zones

Both groups started their days with arrival center and then transitioned to another Zones of Regulation activity! We brainstormed what a person will feel like in each zone together and then individually wrote them on red, green, blue, and yellow paint chips. We continued to read more Todd Parr books as well and had centers.

Important Reminders:

-  "Environmental print is the print of everyday life. It's the name given to the print that appears in signs, labels, and logos." We are creating a wall of such logos that students recognize- examples include a tim hortons sign cut out from a donut box or a Fruitloops picture cut out of a flyer. Please see the picture of our wall! We have asked students to also bring print they can read such as cereal box labels cut out. McDonalds fries bag, etc. The possibilities are endless!

- Do not forget to read the home reading books tonight and put them in your folder and backpack to exchange for a new book tomorrow. Students will not be getting a book without returning the folder and the book first.

- This Friday, January 25th is a PM Friday. No school for AM Kindergarten.

- Our librarian, Ms. Carde will be sending e-mails to parents of students who have not yet returned a book that they borrowed prior to the holiday break. Please don't forget to send back any overdue books. Thanks!
