Our First Wonder Time!

We had art and gym this morning. We worked on coloring our Oliver Jeffers inspired person with Mr. Kelly. They turned out great. We had arrival centers and snack. We then had wonder time for the first time! Wonder time will happen on Fridays. It is a time for students to explore different spaces, activities, provocations, and resources around the school. 

Here is what the students said they did:-

Quinn- I went to the zentangle room.
Aryana- I played in the gym!
Grayson- I did the climbing wall.
Lauren- I played in the gym!
Carys- I played in the gym with my brother.
Catelyn- I played in the gym.
Nuthara- I played in the gym and did gymnastics. 
Samson- I did  zentangles. 
Declan- I went outside.
Ryder- I made a haunted house with the loose parts. 
Matilda- I did paper folding and made a bag and telescope. 
Mia V.- I did things with my sister.
Ellie- I went on the climbing wall. 
Hayden- I went on the climbing wall. 
Khylen- I took pictures. 
Hannah- I went to the puppets. 
Mia M. - I went on the climbing wall. 
Madison- I took pictures. 
Raquel- I took pictures. 
Jace- I did the climbing wall.
Chase- I took pictures on the iPad. 
Rhys- Climbing Wall, gym, and photography with my brother. 
Dylan- I did the climbing wall with my brother. 
Xander- gym, paper making!
Kayla- I went outside!
Jaclyn- I went to the zentangle room.
Marcus- Gym!
Addison- I took pictures of Ms. Mickelson being funny. 
Natalie- I did zentangles and loose parts. 
Isabel- I went to zentangles and loose parts. 
Joshua- I went to the place with lego.
Brooklyn- I went to zentangles. 
Scarlett- We found gold rocks outside!
Isabelle- I went to zentangles. 
Nolan- I went to zentangles room and the gym was noisy!
Mikayla- Climbing wall and played with sticks and balls to make forts. 
Livyah- I went to zentangles. 
Lucie- Zentangles and gymnastic and skipping and pictures!

Important Reminders:

- Home reading books travel between home and school in our colored folders so please ensure that we get them ASAP.  Students will not bring home a reading book without a folder.

- Books and folders must be returned to get a new book. 

- Please continue sending us environmental print! Our wall is growing and we are so excited to add more and more words we can read each day. 

- Fun snack is happening next Tuesday, January 29, 2019.
