Terrific Thursday

The AM students continued practicing for their peace assembly. All students learned a new song "peace in my fingers" and we sang it throughout the day. PM students did another math problem with a ten frame today which was about balloons. We had centers and snack and read a few books as well. 

There is no school for PM Kindergarten tomorrow, January 18th. It is an AM Kindergarten and we have a peace assembly at 11:00 AM. 

Important Updates and Reminders: 

- Home reading starts Monday, January 21st. Home reading books travel between home and school in our colored folders so please ensure that we get them back ASAP. Students will not be given a book without a folder. Thanks!

- Most folders have been returned to school. Please take a quick look around your house if you have not yet returned yours. 

- Friday, January 18th is an AM Kindergarten. There is no school for PM Kindergarten. AM students have a peace assembly and AM families are invited to attend.

- The AM Kindergarten Peace Assembly is tomorrow Friday, January 18th at 11:00 AM. Only the AM students will be performing this time and their families are invited to come and be a part of this. The PM peace assembly will happen later in the year.
