I is for Ice Cream

Today we made mini ice cream cones out of 2D shapes and worked on printing the letter I. We also read a few favourite stories and then completed our own writing in our personal blue journals. We had centers and snack - always a favourite. 

The AM class was invited to watch a presentation with Catriona Le May Doan from Canada's Sports Hall of Fame with the entire school. Their aim was to inspire students by sharing Hall of Famers’ stories and personal experiences in an assembly-style presentation to increase their awareness and appreciation of overcoming significant obstacles when setting and achieving attainable goals. They want to equip youth with critical life skills, lessons and tools for success by bringing them together with an iconic Canadian figure in sport for a powerful moment where sport teaches more than sport.

The PM class had a chance to play "What time is it Mr.Wolf?" in the gym and loved it!

Reminder for the AM Kindergarten to respond to their teachers about attending the field trip on Friday, June 7 to the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary with the PM group. We also need volunteers! Thanks in advance.
