We read the story, My Map Book, by Sara Fanelli and learnt all about different types of maps - road map, treasure map, family map, map of my day, color map, neighbourhood map, and a map of the seaside. We then made heart maps about the best part of me.
We also had a chance to explore the big Canada floor map and tried to figure what was land, what was water, where we lived and where Eric Harvie School was. It was fun pretending to swim in the ocean or fly into space.

- Please return home reading books and folders ASAP
- Please return any books borrowed from the learning commons
- No school on Friday, June 14 (tomorrow) for both kindergarten classes
- Both AM and PM kindergarten will attend on Friday, June 21
- Sports Day is Tuesday, June 25 (regular AM and PM class times still apply)
